Diabetic ketoacidosis - This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of diabetic ketoacidosis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. 6. Type 1 diabetes mellitus - This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus. 7. Lactic Acidosis - This medicine may cause lactic acidosis, which may be fatal, in some patients. This risk is especially higher in patients suffering from heart diseases, kidney diseases, etc. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition. 8. Kidney disease - This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of kidney disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Alcohol use - Consumption of alcohol is not recommended during treatment with this medicine due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects. 10.
